* Found this raw alternate page 3 from my version of “How Did it Get So Late, So Soon?” So I decided to take the time to spruce it up a bit so it’d match with the finished pages. Like most kids I grew up with a lot of help from Dr. Seuss. He helped shape my view of the world, to understand some of the conflicts of the grown up world all through the power of his books & unique vision. He helped teach me how to read, how to imagine, & how to think. One thing I always dreamed of doing as kid was meeting him, and if given the chance, working with him. That’s why when I found out about the last thing he wrote - a poem of sorts - going unillustrated - I leaped at the opportunity. Who am I? I am a relatively unknown Texas based artist with the heart of a child, who still loves to laugh, play, & live each day to its fullest. I am a surrealist in thought, with a notion for the obscure & abstract. I am a vicarious child of Dr. Seuss. This work is one of my pride and joys artistically. I took an approach to illustration that I’d never used before just because he was so unique. I hope if anything I did him proud. Life is free just as seeing & enjoying this work should be. We never ask to be born but are charged to live, if not by money, then taxed by time. Either way something is paid in passing from youth to old age. It’s not the happiest story in the world, but everything doesn’t always have to be. It is a real story, a short story, with just a much heart - if not more - then any of his other works. So please take the time to really take in each page, & share it with someone you love or care about. Happy travels friends.

P.S. I really wish I could get permission from the Seuss estate to print it & distribute limited runs based on donations - with proceeds going to the Dr Seuss Foundation. If someone knows how to get in contact with the Seuss Estate to help make that happen, please do not hesitate to message me. :)

CHANNEL MY ANGER [Feat. MC GRINDA]
Before the world ends check out the latest track from them level headed humanitarians the SPITMONKS! The track also features a cameo by yours truly going under the name MC GRINDA. I also took the time to make this fancy little cover for the track just to round things out nicely. Look for the song on the upcoming Fuck the Main$tream Records compilation dropping mid June should the world not end tomorrow :D
